This trip was pretty exciting not only that it was my first time out of the country but also cos this was the first time I got to become a stranger on someone else's land. It's really nice to be in a place where no one really gives a damn about you. Indepedence at its best.
At the airport, while waiting for Lhiza and Ealden
At Kuala Lumpur airport where we were welcomed by Sam which drove us to the hotel
Right hand drive
Sam gladly brought us to Bery'ls chocolate factory. He said not to tell his boss cos there was supposed to be an additional charge for doing so. Great guy.
At the hotel
As tired as we were, we didn't waste any time and went to KLCC
A mini rollei. It would be nice to have one. Also saw a Leica M9 for the first time. Didn't take a photo of it cos it would only hurt seeing it again.
We went to this bookstore named Kinokuniya. Is this the biggest bookstore in the world?
After eating dinner we went outside. Such a nice view of the twin towers.
Sweet.
We went inside to see if we can go up the tower, but unfortunately it was under maintenance. Too bad.
RBR used by Sebastian Vettel who won the Malaysian Grand Prix
Sad and distraught we decided to go to KL Tower instead where we ended up getting extorted by the taxi drivers. Unfortunately again, KL Tower was already closed. So we took pictures instead, and walked back to the hotel. No more riding the taxi cab.
This was the last shot from my Neopan. I had no more supplies left so I just settled for Kodak Golds throughout the rest of the trip.
With a city this big, you'll definitely get lost without a map
We bought junk food first at a near gas station
The next morning...
Jet and Ealden
Cup noodles for breakfast
Lhiza
Mica
Jocy and Pauline
City tour on day two
While waiting for the tour bus
Our first dropoff was China town
After that, we went to KL Sentral to have lunch
We're not used to urinals this low. lol
We were thinking what food to eat and we thought of trying something different since we're in a different place. So...
We went to KFC.
The tour continued...
At the National Palace
Convention Center?
The Twin Towers by the bus window
It was already late when we went to Aquaria, and fortunately we were still able to enter.
We waited for the last bus and went to Bukit Bintang for a late night shopping.
Junk foods again before going home
Unfortunately, again, the shops were already closed. We raced for the last train back to the hotel. We love running.
The next morning, Genting.
It was really fun riding the Gondola
Genting at last
Conquer your fear, as I have conquered mine.lol
We nearly lost Pauline in Genting, which was kinda funny afterwards.
Time to get back the city
We took the train to Bukit Bintang once again, earlier this time
*whistles*
Malaysia is just a street photographer's haven. You shoot people and they won't care. That's why I love this country.
We walked home and had our last dinner at a nice restaurant.
And that was it for our last night in Malaysia.
Time to go home now.
Last shot from my last roll. The funny thing here was we went to the wrong airport and the real one was about 20 minutes away. We nearly missed our flight but as always, managed to catch it in the nick of time.
And that was our trip to Kuala Lumpur. Where to next?
